
Marianna Yamamoto is Asian Americans Advancing Justice-LA's Health Access Project Program Coordinator. In this role, she supports education, outreach, and advocacy efforts to increase access to quality health care for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander (AANHPI), Latino, and vulnerable communities throughout California.
Prior to joining Advancing Justice-LA, Marianna served as an Education Coordinator for the National Alliance on Mental Illness Los Angeles County Council, where she helped bring classes, support groups, and resources to families impacted by mental illness. In addition, she recently interned for Milk + Bookies working to promote giving and learning among children.
Marianna received her undergraduate degree in Anthropology and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan.
