October 22nd is the deadline to register to vote

APALC wants to remind everyone to register to vote, as the November 6 election is around the corner!

For those of you how have moved, changed names, or changed party affiliation since the last election, you will need to re-register in order to vote. And of course, you will need to register if you have never registered to vote.

Not everyone can vote. If you are 18 years or older and a U.S. citizen before November 6th, then you are eligible to register to vote. Visit www.lavote.net to check on your voter registration status.

As of two weeks ago, California voters have been able to register online. All you need is a California ID and Social Security Number in order to be able to use the online process.
