2016 Advancing Justice Conference is a huge success!

In March, nearly 900 advocates, educators, lawmakers, speakers and students from 42 states gathered in Los Angeles for the 2016 Advancing Justice Conference “Empowering Asian American and Pacific Islander Communities: 2016 and Beyond”, hosted by Asian Americans Advancing Justice and The Wallace H. Coulter Foundation.

Thursday Free Immigration Screening Appointments

Are you looking for your first step toward lawful presence or permanent residence in the United States? An immigration relief eligibility screening is a great start! 
 
The Immigration Project at Advancing Justice-Los Angeles provides this service for free and can help in-person (by appointment only). Clients are screened for eligibility for current immigration programs such as family-based immigration, asylum, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (S.I.J.S.), T-Visa, Temporary Protected Status (T.P.S.), U-Visa, and Violence Against Women Act (V.A.W.A.). After the screening, clients are then given next steps to proceed with immigration assistance in-house or given a local referral.
