Position Summary:  This is a full-time non-exempt position.  Advancing Justice –LA seeks a case coordinator to work with our removal defense clients. This position will work in the immigration unit and report directly to the Supervising Attorney.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist clients with navigating the immigration process by addressing individual psychosocial needs, encouraging family involvement, and assisting in the creation of a reintegration plan to enable individuals to become more fully functional.


Position Summary:

Advancing Justice - LA seeks two full-time bilingual Legal Advocates that are bilingual in an Asian language (Vietnamese or Tagalog strongly preferred) to staff legal helplines that expand access to justice for low-income limited English speaking immigrants. The Asian Language Legal Intake Program (ALLIP) is recognized nationally as a model for its innovation and its ability to expand legal representation and advice to Asian clients in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
