The DACA program is an executive action implemented by the Obama administration to grant temporary relief from deportation for those who entered the United States as children. Benefits of the DACA program include a renewable work permit, a social security number, and the ability to apply for a state identification card or drivers license. DACA recipients are also now eligible for Medi-Cal.

Information session includes an introduction to the DACA program, a list of eligibility requirements, list of documents required to apply, and what you need to know before you decide to apply for DACA. Updates regarding new potential immigration relief programs including the expanded DACA and Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA) program are also featured in the presentation. Staff operating these information sessions are either Bureau of Immigration Appeals (BIA) accredited representatives or authorized immigration attorneys.
