A Community of Contrasts: Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders in the South, 2014 is the latest in a series of reports that promote a more sophisticated understanding of Asian Americans and NHPI. Focused on the South, this report compiles the latest data on growing Asian American and NHPI communities in Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Miami, and the Washington, DC metropolitan area. These areas were chosen based on the size of their Asian American and NHPI communities and the presence of local partner organizations with the capacity to use the information to pursue change.
